In case of a new Service TAx Registration for a sole proprietor , in the first Column of ST- 1 i.e. name of the applicant should be the sole proprietors name or the Firm name of the sole proprietor with which he carries on business??..In the Column of Name of the Applicant in PAN we have to provide sole proprietor's name. Please reply soon

NAME OF APPLICANT --- NAME OF THE FIRM FOR WHICH REGISTERATION IS DONE ...
Apply with the name of the proprietorship concern.
propreitorship can apply fir a servce tax registeration but name of the firm is needed ... d service tax registeration certificate will hold d name as "NAME OF THE FIRM - NAME OF THE PROPREITOR" ...
In both Cases.....
Name of Applicant - Name of Company ya Firm
Name of Applicant as Appearing on PAN - Name of Company or Person Which name is on the PAN Card
Name of Propriotor - Name of Owner
