Hi! You should read only ca institute book, not any other. this will help you.
Just go for practice manual of ICAI. Dont try to change the book. You have already studied all things its time to practice only. So just concentrate on practice manual. I had also failed and its my 3rd attempt and i had passed just refering to practice manual of ICAI.
