My brother just joined a new company, they are not releasing his salary, for not having pan no.,
I want to know by which way i can get the PAN No. FASTEST possible. so that his salary can be released.

1. APPLY THROUGH THE AUTHRISED CENTRES.....WITHIN FIVE DAYS THE PERMANENT NO IS ALLOTED AND DISPLAYED ON THE WEBSITE ...THAT CAN BE DOWNLOADED AND USED FOR IMMEDIATE URGENT WORK
2. IF IT IS VERY URGENT AND CANNOT WAIT FOR FIVE DAYS ...THEN APPROACH THE ASSESSING OFFICER HE HAS THE POWER TO ISSUE PAN
THE SECOND ONE IS DIFFICULT AS THE AUTHORITIES DEMAND URGENT REASONS TOO..
I suggest you to apply for pan online and pay with credit card, I have got some PAN Nos. applied this way, and got them within 5-7 days.
