hello frns! i need ur help...pls suggest me what shud i do? actually i gave my cpt 1st attempt in june 2012...i dint studied fr it...nd so didnt clrd d xam.i got 65 mrks...den i gave cpt in dec 2012...fr dt i joined coaching bt somehow i didnt studied well for dis 2...i studied accounts very nicely.but i went very late for this exam nd ws able to attempt only 30 questions........maths u knw its diff to attempt.......nw i got 89......nd its bcz of my mistake cz i went late n didnt attempt whole ppr of accs........my family is telling me to leave ca.......n jst do graduation n prepare for mba......

my aim was 2 do ca ...n give civil services xam after ipcc....bt m so depressed nw......m good at accounts.......

pls tell what shud i  do m totally  mad abt dis.......

n 1 more ques.........if i clear ca third tym......n dn do ipcc nd ol will dis affct ...wen i go to get job or for training.....

m totally confused guys plss tell wot to do.....i dnt evn knw myslg wt to do.....

pls help........... guys pls tell shud i go for 3rd attempt or nt?

sonali,

my advise start studying now.

just go through the study material of ICAI.

1.mercantile law  & accounting refer p c tulsian ( to understand better)

2. economics and maths study material is enough.

3. dont leave any question at the end of chapter in ICAI material. ( very imp bcse 30-50 % questions will come in exams)

4. 20 days before exams solve as many papers as you can with in the time limit.

5. concentrate on studies,plan & study well.

all the very best, it wont effect your career as long as u dont think so!!!!

You are very near to your target. you almost done everything....don't think for leave...Sometimes we can't comfortable with MCQs.. as you said you are very good @ accounts then you should not leave.. Stat and Maths is difficult to understand 4 majority of students.. We choose commerce is one the reason that we are not comfortable with Nos..in our schooling time.. Don't think too much you have much time to prepare and see where your weakness.. 

dont leave ... be more comfident.. sure In further ( IPCC and FINAL ) you are more effective and you will not face problem like maths and all..

Here people like to solve your all problems regarding your studies.. just share and see .. Just enjoy with studies..NEVER take as BIG WAR !

Hy u should not quit as far as i know. cpt attempts does not matters. i have seen many students who have cleared cpt in 3rd n 4th attempt but they still managed to clear ipcc and finals in first attempt. its hard work which matters. im also going to give my 2 attmpt for cpt in june. all the best.

Don quit. Try one more time n this time be dedicated. Dont waste your attempts. Remember, time = money in professional courses.
