Thanks for the link. But he is NOT yet issued PAN number. His application is pending with name mismatch error. He got email saying that fill in application with correct name again and send. But I see its not possible to fill as per his ID proof(explained above)

Then better to reapply in a new form with correct details.

hai how to check my middle and first name in my pan card

I have to correct my name in pan card as per my Aaadhar card name G VEERAMANIKANDAN, without space

But in my pan card name is G Veera manikandan, If now i m trying to correct , but my initial name not take for PAn correction.

So how i enter my anme for G Veeramanikandan

my name is VIDHYA LAKSHMI H as per Aadhar card but my pan card doesnt allow initials. it has the expansion of my initials. facing same problem. if u have found a solution pls advice

When PAN application is made for the first time (Only for first time) the UTIITSL/NSDL software allows expension of initials without any id proof other than Aadhar demographic detials.  Thus; in your case name can be entered as:

FN: Ravi Chandra                                                                    FN : Ravi

MN : no need to fill                                                                MN : Chandra

LN : S........ (expansion)        or                                                 LN  : S........(expensation)   

                                                                                 AND

There is provision in the application to fill the name to be printed on the PAN card as : Ravi Chandra S
