Yes. But he's way too smart, intelligent and matured for a 13 year old :)
You know what? He even prepared time-table for my studies. Infact, two time-tables, viz.,
1. getting up early in the morning @ 4:30 and
2. getting up at usual time, but studying till 2 o'clock in the night.

And what kinda example are you setting before the 13 year old kid.??????
Are you even a bit responsible person ...... I don't think so .... because if this had happened that kid hadn't any chance to teach you.
You should guide him .... and I really adore the kid for his maturity and sincerity.
My best friend and I breakup ...because I really don't wanna do CA. And infact ...this is the same time period when I made my id on caclub india ...... In this time period I added CS to my qualification as well ...... wrote many articles which inspired not just me but others as well. Became fav of the caclubindia...... my article was praised by Amarjeet Chopra (ex president of ICAI). I was always a scholar in my school days .... But after college my study was nothing to me .... and the brkup of our friendship made me learn the most important chapter of my life which I forgot .... If that friendship never broke ... I know I would never ever try to prove myself ... and desire to be CA and CS.
My best friend is still there to support me ... show happiness... when I am reaching sky heights ... it doesn't matter we are not talking as we used to.
True friendship never ever brake no matter what happens. So Just respect your friendship and do hardwork ... and set an example before him ... How much you care and really concerned about his opinion.
Rest is still your wish.... I have no other words to you ... You can have countless discussion or do what's right for you.
