Mvat return new format - apri 16

HI all

MVAT e filing from April 16 onwards is still not activated and the below message is reflecting in the mahavat.gov.in site .. Can some one tell when the same will be available.

That message is so since July. (in one or other form)

Earlier they used to put date - "will be available after XYZ date" and then change date!

Now they have simply said - "shortly"

Funny thing is after next year (or 2) GST will be implemented and this whole thing will change again.

Crores of money spent in developing software wud go waste.

Any update?
