Mvat return new format - apri 16

Interest on late filing of mvat return for april 2016 will not apply if payment of taxes due is made on or before 21st May 2016 and return should be filled before 10th june 2016.

Are you able to upload your return?

This date of 10th June,2016 for MVAT April 2016 returns has been further extended upto 30th July, 2016.

The facility to upload VAT returns for the month of APRIL-16 will be available from 15th July & the last date for filing returns is extended to 30th July 2016...

What about quarterly returns?

From where to download forms?

When I go to "Dealer services-New automation". There is no option to download forms OR template (except some huge billing software - 300MB).

Also under "New automation" when I try to login using VAT number and password - it gives password in not correct. (But same username and password works on previous MVAT site)

Can you please provide me the trade circular or notification regarding the extension. TY 

Its scrolling on Mahavat site. See top horizontal scrolling line.

You have to wait like 2-3 min to read that part as the scrolling is way too slow and also annoying

No attachement found. You meant below FAQ for filing return in new automation system attached herewith?

MVAT Website says facility to upload will be enabled "after 25th July".

Its already 26th - so how to know if this facility is now enabled? And if yes, where and how to upload?

Even I have to file quarterly return.

Everything is final only uploading remains.Neither automation site nor old login accepts the txt file.

Scrolling text on MahaVAT site says:

Late fee for the returns for period ending 30 June 2016 will not be attracted, if tax payment for said period is made within prescribed date and return for the said period is filed on or before extended date given by the Sales Tax Department"

But where is the extended date given? I do not see any such news of extension.
