Pls. let me know what is the exemption limit of mobile allowance in salary compnents for FY 2015-16.
Mobile allowance is taxable as it is neither covered u/s 10(14)(i) nor u/s 10(14)(ii).

However, expenditure on telephone including a mobile phone incurred by the employer on behalf of the employee will not be treated as taxable perquisite [Proviso to Rule 3(7)(ix)].
