Dear Frnd

It shows type of Payment for TDS under Category.

Minor Head 200 Shows TDS/ TCS payable by Tax Payer (paid by his own every month)

Minor Head 400 Shows TDS/ TCS payable on Regular Assessment

(i.e demand raised by department & paid by the assessee for the same.)

i have some problem when i was create a tds chalan then by mistek selected a 400 insted of 200 of on of account , so what will i do please give me suggestion. i am waiting for you reply thank you.

Tax Department has enabled the facilty for rectification of clerical mistake (like wrong PAN, wrong code, wrong amount etc.) in challan genertion on both online & offline mode.

Online correction of OLTAS Challan is possible on Traces Portal. Login to your TRACES Account. However DSC is mandatoy for this option.
