YES. it may be required to be filed for ordinary resolution also
There are certain resolution need requisite majority like appointment, re-appointment or renewal of the appointment, or variation of the terms of appointment, of a MD, Buy back of securities, To approve financial statement and the Board’s report (not for pvt. companies) etc also need to be filed.
