Mechanisms to check whether GST has been submitted to Govt.

I had eaten in a Restaurant two days ago. They had given me a bill showing the amount, total GST charged and their GSTIN. So, the amount they have collected from me as GST apart from the cost of the food has to be submitted to the Govt within 03 months. So, is there is any mechanism through which I as a coustomer or Govt. can check whether the amount has been deposited to Govt fund or not. How, can it be ensured that money collected from me as GST has actually gone to Govt and they are not keeping in their pocket as Govt has no information of the transaction against the GST has been collected.
