1.

    Let x of first be mixed with y

Milk                       Water

x =8/9x                  1/9y

y=1/6y                     5/6y

3rd vessel=8/9x+1/6y and 1/9x+5/6y

3rd vessel = half milk and water

=8/9x+1/6y=1/9x+5/6y

=16x+3y-2x+15y

=16x-2x=-3y+15y

=14x-12y

=x/y=6/7

y=7/13*21

=11.30

let X litter drawn from 1st n Y 4m 2nd...

X+Y=21

8/9X+1/6Y=1/9X+5/6Y  (MILK=WATER)

by solving above 2 equations

X-9.69

Y-11.31...cool
