does ICAI reward marks for correct steps in practical question with correct working note?i read this somewhere but don't have reliable proof or source regarding it.so please provide me source.

Yes, step marking is there in practical questions..dont worry..
Its given in the key answers to examiners, which steps to award marks and how much marks are to be awarded..
Even if ur answer is not matching, you will get marks, based on the weightage of steps which you performed with proper working note provided that such step is carrying marks in the key answer given to examiner.
