What is Free float factor and how is it calculated??

Free Float Factor is the proportion of shares held by outsiders i.e. public (i.e. other than Promoters of the company).

Its easy to calculate. It is expressed in terms of percentage of holding by outsiders:

No of shares held by outsiders (i.e. total shares outstanding minus shares held by promoters) divided by total shares outstanding into 100

hope clear now..

100%- Promoter holding percentage = free float
