LUT for service Export

I am providing service to a software ware company who exports the same to another country. Currently I am applying IGST to the customer. Can I apply LUT for the same.? If yes what is the process and what does my buyer need to do.?

My buyer is Indian representative of the foreign client. I receive payment in INR.

Quick Summary
A user is asking if they can apply for a Letter of Undertaking (LUT) for services exported to a foreign country, currently paying IGST. The advice given is that their current supply is considered domestic, not an export of service, therefore GST is applicable and an LUT would not be beneficial in this scenario.

You can apply for LUT but I think you don't need to since your supply is domestic.
Your sale of service does not qualify as export of service. Hence GST is leviable. LUT will not help for the sale to this client.
