If I have sale consideration of rs 34 lakh and capital gain of rs 6 lakh and I'll claim 6 lakh under 54 exemption for reinvest.
Can I reinvest only 6 lakh on new property and utilise rest of the amount of personal purpose??

Yes, provided you had sold any house property to claim exemption u/s. 54 IT act.
