Can we dispatch excisable goods directly on Excise challan cum invoice without getting an LR from transporter.

We buy goods from manufacturers and call it in our warehose. We sell as trader and after makingI excise invoice, we send the goods in same vehicle to our customer without making an LR.

How critical is LR in Excise/ VAT ?

LR is a document where the 3rd party owned commercial vehicles appears on any check post, and generally they carry the multiple consignments in single vehicle,
for sake of the consignment identity and segregating the same with other goods in vehicle, its applicable,
usually within local area TR is not used as the consignor hires a full vehicle for the consignment.
