LR MANDATORY FOR OF EXCISEABLE GOODS

Can we dispatch excisable goods directly on Excise challan cum invoice without getting an LR from transporter.

We buy goods from manufacturers and call it in our warehose. We sell as trader and after makingI excise invoice, we send the goods in same vehicle to our customer without making an LR.

How critical is LR in Excise/ VAT ?
