Looking for CIMA coaching classþ

Dear Freinds,

I have qualified my company secretaryship (CS) and has 2 years of Work experience. Recently,in November '07 I cleared CA PE2 .  I have seen in ICAI institute website that during articleship of CA, a student can pursue CIMA, london courses. When I search for Exemption papers in cima website, I found exemptions for 3 papers at various Levels i.e. C01, C02, C03, C04, C05 (Foundation level) + P01, P07, P08 (Managerial level).

I am interested in appearing for CIMA, Managerial level (remaining paper i.e. P02, P04, P05) in Novemeber 2008. For this I'm looking for class room coaching in Bangalore/Mumbai for undergoing preparation of above mentioned papers. I have also heard that Bangalore based Christ college is providing classes for CIMA courses. Please guide me regarding this, as I am willing to pursue CIMA course.

An early reply will be appreciated.

Regards,

Sumit

Hello sir,

I am in bcom final year n pursuing CA also. My CA PCC attempt will be in may2009. i want to do CS also. So if i will do CS with CA then will i get exemption in papers of any of the exam. Like if i will give PCC both groups in may2009 n then CS inter in june2009 then will i b exempted to give some papers of CS inter. and is it advisable to do CS with CA or should i do some other course like ICWA with CA?

Is there any one who is registered as CIMA Student or is a CIMA member?

I wanted to know what is YOUR experience in this context?

I'm registered for CIMA but currently clueless on how to go about the studies!

Nor am I able to get hold of the study materials nor the coaching classes... I'm like shooting in the dark.

But personally I feel CIMA being a globally accepted qualification in finance will definitely add value to your career.

And now that CA students have an edge on acquiring qualification from ICAEW (thanks to the MOU signed by ICAI and ICAEW), you can also think about this if you want to practice or work in the UK apart from CIMA.

can anybody tell me please the contact address of Cima Kolkata?
