Please clarify whether quite long pending dues- in the category of Renting of immovable properties- due to litigation-settled now,is entirely subject to Service tax , or only the portion of it -from which period the party has come under the purview of service tax-is subject to service tax.

if the arrears are accounted in your books as recievable in previous years, then treat as per books of accounts, if not then gross receipt will be treated as current year receipt.
