LLP cancellation

Any LLP can close down its business by adopting any of the following two ways:A) Declaring the LLP as Defunct B) Winding up of LLP

LLP can be declared as defunct if u r not carrying on any business for a period of 1 year or more. This is the easiest way out of all.. Other ways are voluntary or compulsory winding up.

As per my suggestion, u should declare LLP as defunct in case u r not carrying any bsnss and close it down as early as possible.Otherwise ROC may issue notice to you, and then it will become quite cumbersome for you to deal with such a case

u need to attach one statement of accounts which will be signed by a CA only.. Apart from that, certain documents are also required to be attached for filing of form for closure of LLP
