1. Its a title which u'll get if u  dont wana undergo dat 15 month training .u'll have to apply for this Licentiate membership within 6 months aftr clearng professional programme.

2. A LCS cant issue a compliance certificate like a proper CS.

1. After completing CS Professional programme one can apply for the LCS, if d person doesnt wish to undergo practical training. 

 A Licentiate member can niether be appointed as Company Secretary under section 383, nor he can give any report/ certificate like compliance certificate, annual report signing, annual ROC forms certification and etc.

2. The only benefit is that he can represent himself as a member of ICSI ( whether Associate, Fellow, or Licentiate). further an LCS can be allowed to meet ROC and other officials on production of LCS membership card.
