Lic superannuation fund

I am looking for an opinion. A person receives Superanuation (contributed by the person from his income) for the last seven years in a private company. The company has a recongized SAF fund with LIC. This person receives 1/3rd of the amount after resignation. The balance 2/3rd is kept in the fund and from there receives a monthly annuity. The questions are

1. Whether 1/3rd received in this FY is taxable?

2. Whether the monthly annuity is taxable.

This person after resignation has taken up another job.
