Length of the notice of BM

Dear Mamta

Under Companies Act, there is no prescribed time for length of notice of Board meeting. Incase in Articles, the notice period is prescirbed then that will your length of notice. Also as secretarial standards on Meetings, it is suggested to have 7 days notice period. Normally industry practice is to send notice atleast 7 days before the meeting.
