I received my father's pension arrears after his death ... what is the tax liability on me??

What is the amount?

Any TDS deducted?

If yes, over which PAN..... yours or  over deceased person?

10 lakhs... my pan TDs deducted at 10%

Are the arrears for the period before the death?

If yes, you can claim refund as legal heir by filing return of your father; but if it is for the period after his death, it will be assessed in your file.
