Late processing of filed ITR by CPC Banglore

Many taxpayers are noticing a significant delay in the processing of their Income Tax Returns (ITRs) by the CPC Bangalore this year, unlike last year when processing was much faster. Some speculate that issues with the error-free utilities for ITRs might be contributing to the backlog. While one user reported their brother's ITR1 was processed within a few weeks, others are still waiting over a month for their returns to be processed.
