Last year income tax department was prompt enough to process a filed itr within 10 to 30 minutes of its filing. But this year ever after lapse of a period of more than a month after filing return is not being processed in the system.
Does anybody know the reason of late/not processing of itr as yet this year by income tax department.

This year department even lacks the program for error-free utilities of all ITRs.
So, processing may start by this month end.
No not correct.
My brother filed itr 1 on 19/6/23 and recived intimation on 8/7/23.......
