Notification link

Sir,

what to do in case, TRANS 1, did not file before 27th of Dec-17, and there is 1.5 lakh ITC available (carriforward) in the vat return for month of june-17.

when i was tring to file TRANS 1 the error occured that invilid TIN but it was correct again and agian this error was found in the portal thats why i could not be filed my trans 1.

please suggest.

The Act (LAW) says, TRANS 1 filling dates can be extended for a period of 180 days, while all other forms it is upto discression, thus for any extension, 1st the amendment needs to be made in the parliament.

I too have missed my deadline (I thought it was 6 months i.e. 31st december), but the above is the fact of the matter.

Is there any news for date extension?

No, Form GST TRAN-1 filing due date is to 27th December, 2017.

Any idea about date extension of Trans. 1

We can try writing our greivances and requests to :

gst-cbec @ nic.in, contact.gstcouncil @ gov.in,

Let us work together to fulfil our request.

OK I will write mail to that mail id

In addition to  personal requests we can also try to put request through trade organisations or any other organisations to gst-cbec @ nic.in and contact.gstcouncil @ gov.in. this also will be a better act.
