Please tell me if security deposit is required for Karnataka VAT registration. Please post the mandatory deposit required for all types of entities, if applicable.

For trade only in state please apply for VAT registration , the minimum security is Rs.5000 .
For interstate trade please apply for VAT+CST registration, the minimum security is Rs. 15000 (5000+10000),
