I have entered STCG at Aie and I have nothing to fill at at A8 in schedule CG of ITR2 as I have no connection of any sort with a foreign country and hence DTAA. So I filled in amount at A8 as zero but the page is not getting validated saying entries at A8 are mandatory. Why so ?
Please guide me.
The schedule is not getting validated without filling it. Shows remarks to fill up A8 & B8
I have removed all entries of Schedule CG and filled up again leaving A8 & B12(Similar to A8) blank.
Now on validating a different pop up comes with remark
'Run-time error 13, Type mismatch'
Would someone be kind enough to help me out. Spent 3 days on this.

You mean to say, download a fresh exel form & fill it up manually without importing anything from the pre-filled Xml file ?

The whole problem got solved when I switched off internet while filling ITR2 off-line.
