ITR1 salary colum deduction

sir my friend is normal job in retail shop it's a private so when he fill itr1 in salary colum then automatically some of deduction coming up in this year his total salary is 108000 yearly but when he enter the amount automatically 80000 deduct so what can we do

Check other deduction but 40000/- gets deducted as standard deduction.

40,000 standard deduction and
40,000 other deduction right sir it's a compulsory deduction automatic or not

Other deduction is to be verified, better check it as per form 26AS.
