Yes, You are exactly correct.

We can file return. it can be accepted by portal. Also it can be processed after verifying the return.

But, It's very simple, after above all dept raise notice with demand.

For me I can't even get the json file to upload. Validation error. Tax payable column should be greater than 0.

Maximum amount of demand that can be asked for return filing was already paid by us.

Income is below taxable limit and therefore no amount is payable except late fee.

It's helpful to filing ITRs for Refund, Nil cases.

Already referred but it is the only way to file return when assessee is in very much need of it.

In any manner it's not possible.

ITD is very well lock in this regard...

In case TDS deducted but not filed ITR then dept raise notice for Non filing of ITR.
otherwise nil return not acceptable by dept.
(many of filing ITR for loan purpose. dept licked this kind of reasons.)
