More important is name of proprietor and its PAN. The said field can be filled either as SELF or even as Proprietor, will not make any difference.........
(Note: Only if the form is used for partnership firm, then it will be 'PARTNER')
if we write Individual
Form will not be defective/rejected, but for individual assessee it should be SELF or for proprietorship firm, more appropriate word is 'Proprietor'.
