ITR 444 views 7 replies
Dear Friends,

I received salary in F.Y. 2015-16.

I have received salary amount of Rs.2,00,000/- on which TDS @ 10℅ is deducted under section 194J as professional fees.(under probation period).

And received salary amount of Rs.50,000/- on which no TDS is deducted and it is after after job confirmation comes to EPF.

Awaiting your reply.

Are you asking for the ITR form to be filled?
Yes, I want to know which ITR form will be applicable.
Are you a freelancer??
1) I am confused for the fact that why they have deducted TDS u/s 194J for salary. The correct section for deduction is 192.
It seems from your post that you are a regular employee and not freelancer, if this is the case then you can go for itr-1.
However, for freelancers itr-4 is prescribed if you maintain books of accounts, if not and your income is not more than Rs.50Lac then you can itr-4s if you opt so. Under this your income will be deemed to be 50% of gross receipts.
I have income total 3,00,00/- .
Company deduct TDS @ 10% for under probation period.

Please suggest me which ITR to be used.

Please reply.
