If a indian person working in UK from last one year on work vis as a software engineer he need to file ITR?
before working in UK he worked in malaysia for one year.
pls help me to find suitable answer.

yes if he has taxable income in india and dtaa purposes

As a Non-resident NRI he can , rather must file ITR even if taxable income below basic limit of 2.5 lakhs.
I hope he has PAN card OR AADHAR card.
