139(1) was applicable till July.
After that belated return is applicable

Right.. but is verification only is possible after 30 day time limit?
Yes, If missed for verify then the return (31st July) treated as invalid.
The second return is treated as fresh return.
But, as per your query the second return is filed October then it's treated as Belated return as 139(4).
