I m filing itr 4 online ...and my total taxable income is 343000 then why rebate u/s 87a is not coming

Pl ensure if the assessee is a resident individual. Because only a RESIDENT INDIVIDUAL can claim rebate u/s 87A, all other assesses are not eligible to claim 87A relief. If your assessee meets the eligible criteria and you still face the issue, then try downloading the java utility afresh or fill online form afresh.

Tax on income - 4650
Rebate u/s 87A - 2500
Tax after rebate - 2150
Education cess - 65
Tax payable - 2220
Yes. Rebate u/s 87A is Rs. 2,500 if taxable income is less than Rs. 3,50,000
online it was not taking ...i downloaded the X M L and then uploaded it
There might be some network issue. It happens sometimes. Anyhow you are done with it. That's good.
