I too am facing the same issue and even after a 100th retry, the new ITR site gives the same error. Did anyone report this to the finance ministry yet ?
Hi All, I had this same error "Please enter the Bank name" problem while validating the return. I found I had one of the bank account details in "Failed Bank Accounts" : Dashboard My Profile My Bank Accounts
When I validated same, error was gone and I was able to succesfully verify the return. Hope it would help.
This bug happened during migration . There is no edit facility and the bank name cannot be inserted. If it is being validated you cannot remove it either . Absolutely frustrating . Call centre was helpless but promised help.
