My status is NRI, while filling the ITR - 2 i am encountering error "Total of Quarterly breakup in STCG 15% is more by 62244"
when i am entering 2 lakhs (principal amount on interest) under the head HP.
Effects of above entry
under schedule CYLA
Loss to be set off : 2 Lakhs
STCG Tax (under House property loss for CY) : 62244 (Loss is adjusting against my CY STCG income)
I can rectify the error by inserting 62244 under schd CG (quarterly breakup), But if i don't put 2 Lakh under HP my return is not giving any error.
Please suggest
1) How 62244(STCG (Loss)) is automatically calculated and is it correct.
