Ito and address change

If he changed address from Bangalore to Mumbai he can file the Income Tax Return (ITR) by using his new Address.But he needs to update his new Address in INCOME TAX Department by submitting Change Of Address request in PAN (Permanent Account Number) to NSDL /UTI.

I have come across in one case where even PAN no. was changed . So I think better inform to Banglore office that onwards u will file ITR from Mumbai & keep acknowledgement.
