Dear sir,
I did a work under coal india for repairing a buidling.
I use cement ,rod,ac sheet, labour etc.. for repaire the building.
I give the tax invoice and Recevied the amount from coal india.
My question is can I claim ITC on my purchase for repairing the building?

Yes, you can take ITC on such items
Sohan you can take subject to some exceptions
1. you should have works contract registration.
2. you should issue gst bill to coal india.
3. it should be further used for increase of business.
if the contractor helps in increasing the business indirectly or directly.
generally gst on any repair work is ineligible.
