Last date to avail GST Input Tax Credit for July’17-March’18 not likely to be Extended: Govt has issued press released where it is mentioned that the apprehension that ITC can be availed only on the basis of reconciliation between FORM GSTR-2A and FORM GSTR-3B conducted before the due date for filing of return in FORM GSTR-3B for the month of September, 2018 is unfounded as the same exercise can be done thereafter also.
they will extend because next year election and due to non extending many become defaulter due to heavy tax credit reversal
Reconciliation between GSTR-2A with GSTR- 3B is huge difference between the Actual itc.supplier has not uploaded the invoices there in GSTR1.How can reconcile it correctly.

This extension request is granted to Government till the date ,any notification , Circular or Press Release issued..
