yup . too many probs in traces site. one thing is the site isnt fully ready.. every nw and then i see der as last updated on ... ""        """ ...

prob 1) the consolidated file - the status shown oly as submitted . we have been waiting for last for lst one week to download the file.. omg.. when the status ll change into available ???

geetha, did you send a mail to the contact us email id?

we have sent a 2 mails to them .. no reply yet . and regarding reg. of tan no we had so many prob, sent umpteen mails to tin-nsdl @ ifo nd odr few id's .. we had prob regarding this HASH & SAM value .wen ever we enterd dis details it use to say as invalid.

but thank god now they ve taken out that step, nd directly goes to the next.

Dear Experts/Friends. TRACES website has enabled the TAN Registration under Deductor new LOGIN. Now I have successfully Registered a TAN as Deductor. So you may also try and Register your TAN.  

One another problem i face that password should be min 8 charctor and upto 15 but i tried lots of password it is not accept any one of.  Please suggest wat password is opted in this site. pls give example

did you read the help text that is next to the password field...i think the rules are mentioned there...including which characters are allowed, how many length...

any one of the letter in your password should be uppercase , lik say if u say u give your name as password it shud be lik dis - Raman @ 123   or   raMan @ 2.

i tried both thses types of but it shows again invalid password....

did u leave space in between as i wrote ?

dont leave spaces. try dis - Nirmal @ 123

plz note... @ is not a valid special character as mentioned in the help...only those characters mentioned in the help must be allowed
