Yes. Jan 2013 material is applicable for May 14 exams.

Hi their,

After seeing the above query i went through icai web portal and convinced myself that

ISCA January 2013 Edition is relevant for May 2014 exam only.
ISCA August 2013 Edition is relevant for November 2014 exam and onwards.

Let me know the correctness of the above as i have my attemp in this May.

Yes. Jan 2013 is the edition applicable for May-14.

chpts 5 and 8 revised in jan 13... download latest study mat from icai.org.. or buy new book. Better get Manish Valechha for easy and timely completion of this subject..

There were a few changes in case of Chp No. 5(Risk Assessment Methodologies and Applications) and Chp No.8 (Information Systems Auditing Standards, Guidelines ,Best Practices)Its advisable to take out prints of these 2 chapters..Rest of the syllabus of ISCA is applicable for May '14

i have Manish valecha August 2013 edition and Study mat january 2013 edition .. Please advice what should i do .. just download those chapters and study or buy whole new book ? thanks
