hiii i am appearing for ca final november 2014 exams,i am ready to study 10 hours daily,so i am thinking to claim exemption in isca as time is very short,i have not studied of ca final before,i am new in ca final,i have purchased manish m. vallecha book...please tell me i think there is some problem with my strategy...in the first time study i go deep but upto the level which is required in exam but i just read, understand and LEARN points(make memory codes for points too) and LEARN definitions and LEARN some areas where i think its required and write down all necessary word meanings taken from dictionary in the book....please  tell me do i have to just read and understand each and every thing and not learn??
one more thing do handwriting matter in exam,if my handwriting is ok and is readable easily by checker then will it deduct my marks??
how many times is isca revision required before exam to claim exemption??
how many days and hours will it take to cover isca??

now rattafication is required to clear ca exams.

i got 52 marks in isca on knowledge base & after it  reduced to 42.

just bought ICAI pm of isca & revised it at least 6 times.

no one goes  for logic copy checkers only compare the answer with suggested answers which they get from ICAI, so no other book & only rattafication.

ISCA... pata nahi KISKA
as far as ISCA is concerned than u will have to write the language what ICAI use in its module. If u write the technical words used by ICAI than surely u will get marks. there isnt any logic in ISCA.
If u study the module than 12 days are sufficient to cover the new module. 3 hours a day.
2 time revision with 1 deep study would be suffice.

I got 54 in ISCA.... My strategy was to study ISCA every day...... I almost revised the entire syllabus four times... N u need to mug up ISCA.... I dont think  understanding and writing your own words will fetch u marks in exams.... As many of my friends studied from DInesh Madan and not even one  of them passed in ISCA..... And yes I too referred Manish Valechcha.......

Good Luck...

Dinesh Madan book is easy to ready....BUT language is not module language, so you cannt get marks. Sumit Shanker book is easy to ready as well as same language as module, I think its the best book for self study. Otherwise if you can take tution that memory craft, Laxmi Nagar Delhi, is good, they can make you learn ISCA like story. Thus

Self study- Sumit Shanker Book
