Is there an online view for service tax tds deductions?

Queries 674 views 2 replies

Dear Friends,

I run a Management Consulting sole proprietorship .  Prior to this I performed consulting engagements and invoiced clients using my PAN number.  In this latter instance TDS was cut at 10% and I could see this online on the Form 26AS.

Now that I have formalised my services with a sole proprietorship, clients are still cutting TDS.  Will I see these in the same Form 26AS (which is linked to my PAN number) or is there a different online report that I can use to view TDS deductions on services.  If so, I'd appreciate you pointing me to where I can see my sole proprietorship related TDS deductions.

Thank you!

Permanent Account Number will not change with establishing a sole proprietary concern. So you can view your entire TDS in your 26AS which you are viewing previously.

There is no provision under the law for deducting the service tax by the receiver ofthe service. In some cases he is liable to pay full or part of the ST under reverse / joint charge mechnism. If you wish to know more about the same pl read an article. I think it is there in the article section.
