Is it true that we can write our finals after 2 years?

I too heard from friends the same thing ,can any one tell me whether 2yrs or 2.5 yrs of articles is requried to appear in final exam

u will be eligible for finals in May-2014 only as in nov-2013 u will not complete ur 2.5 yrs of artcshp

as per icai u can write ur finals only during the last 6 months of ur atcshp.

Even i heard the same thing so i went to the institute to find out and they told me that this change has happened but not for ipcc people. its for those guys who have shifted from pcc to ipcc. because pcc had 3.5 years of articleship and they were allowed to give their final attempt 6 months before it gets over i.e. 3 years that has been changed to 1 year before your articleship gets over i.e. 2.5 years. But ONLY for pcc students.

But to the best of my knowledge eligibility to appear for final exams will be only during last 6 month.

Please let me know any chances of giving eligibility relaxation (i.e last 12 months).

It is 2.5 years... The notification for 2 years was for the PE-II students. It is not elegibble for IPCC students...
