Is e-way bill required ?

Eway Bill 418 views 13 replies

If ABC enterprise transports goods of value more than Rs. 50,000 through its own conveyance, will it be required to generate e-way bill if:

1. The recipients are not known in advance. ABC enterprises is a marketing agency and it markets its products to wholesalers. The exact quantity and value of the goods for each recipient is not known in advance. It is only known at the destination and after negotiations with the buyers. Some day the buyers may buy the product, other days they might not.

2. The invoice is also not generated in advance, it is only issued when sale takes place at the destination after due negotiations as regards quantity and price.

In one day, a single conveyance carriers multiple consignments for different recipients but who will buy and in what quantity is not known in advance.
