I want know whether dividend under mutual fund investment is taxable ?

yes its exempt....logic is same...Dividend distribution tax is already paid by the company declaring dividend...so its exempt in hands of investor...

Dividend received from Mutual funds are exempt u/s.10(35) of I.T.Tax Act 1961.

As an individual, Dividend received in your hands are exempt from tax. You need not pay any tax for the dividend redeived.
However, few clarifications will enlight your tax obligations.

Currently I have invested in close ended mutual funds in respect to get higher returns with no tax deduction with the help of  financial advisor which has given me higher retuns in number of tractions
