Dear Jaganathan,

under what expense brokerage will be exempted from being considered as salary...it is not a company expense unless it forms part of relocation expenses...

It was the part of relocation expense, and the amount was 25k. The amount was reimburssed by thirdy party, which works for relocation for the employer. Please mention the act/section according to which it is not taxable/ or taxable

Sir, i think it will be treated as perquisite in the hands of employee and is taxable in the hands of employee.
