Dear Sir,

I had registered for Ipcc(Direct entry) on 27-Nov-2014 till now i didnt get the register number. And now i am willing to appear in the Nov 2015 Ipcc Exam .But please let me know is it possible to complete (OP.ITT and 9 months of articles) before Nov 2015 .

During registration process i had registered for Article with the ipcc application .Will that date will be taken for calculating the 9 months of articels or from the date of joining an CA firm .

I will be very much thankfull, if u help me in this regard.

-> You can start the articled training only after completion of ITT and OP. For Nov’15 CA-IPC exams, 9 months of training should be completed/completing as on 01.11.2015.

-> So, you need to start your articled training positively from 01.02.2015 in order to be eligible for Nov'15 exams. Hopefully, you will find the batches available to meet the deadline. Good Luck!

-> Date of commencement of training shall be considered for counting the period of articleship.

In case student undergoes Information Technology Training (ITT) during the articled training period whether the same is treated as period actually served under articled training or is treated as leave period?

Student who undergo Information Technology Training (ITT) with the consent of the Principal during the articled training period is treated as period actually served under articled training as per Regulation 59(7) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.

IS THIS CRITERIA IS POSSIBLE FOR ME AS MENTIONED IN THE ICAI WEBSITE...(19TH POINT)

The aforesaid point was applicable to students who registered for articled training till 30.09.2012. They needed to complete ITT and OP by 31.03.2013, instead of before registering for practical training.

Refer Point No. 6 of the said FAQs:
"However, the Council, in order to mitigate the hardships that might be faced by the students registering under Direct Entry Scheme to Chartered Accountancy Course upto 30th September, 2012 has relaxed the requirement of completion of ITT and Orientation Course upto 31st March, 2013, as a one-time dispensation."

Hi all, i want to give nov 2015 exam. since there are no seats available for itt , i got batch from 19th january to 13th feb. can i start my articles training now?? or i can start my article training only after completion of itt & ot?? pls reply

Articled training can be commenced only after completion of ITT and OP.

In that case, you won't be able to register for articleship on/before 01.02.2015 in order to be eligible for Nov'15 CA-IPC Exams. Consequently, your exams will get delayed to May 2016.
